I am a Development Effectiveness and Economics Consultant at the Water and Sanitation Division (INE/WSA) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University in May 2024.
My research interests are at the intersection between development economics, economics of education, and labor economics. In my research, I explore how individuals living in low- and middle-income economies make schooling decisions, the factors that influence these decisions, and the ways policies may help overcome obstacles to human capital formation. In addition to my academic research, I participate in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of water and sanitation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean.
